Walmart, Inc. is an American public company, currently one of the largest companies in the world (by sales) as announced by Fortune 500 2019. This is a privately rented unit. Walmart is the world's largest employer and the fourth-largest commercial and public employer. Walmart is the largest grocery retailer in the United States, with approximately 20% of its consumer and grocery sales. Walmart is also the largest toy seller in the United States with about 45% of toy sales, surpassing Toys "R" Us in the late 1990s.
Walmart's operations are divided into four divisions: Walmart U.S., Walmart International, Sam's Club, and Global eCommerce. The company offers different retail formats across these divisions, including super malls, supermarkets, hypermarkets, centralized warehouses, cash-and-carry stores, home improvement, appliances, specialty electronics, restaurants, apparel stores, pharmacies, convenience stores, and digital retail.
Also in stores, Walmart's supermarket specializes in baby supplies such as diapers and food, and it has a wide range of strollers, monitors, and clothes for babies and toddlers.
