Wat Si Muang
The vivid sanctuary of Wat Si Muang is the site of the Khmer-time lák méuang (city support point), accepted to be the home of another watchman soul of Vientiane. As the legend goes, a lady forfeited herself to quiet irate spirits by bouncing into the opening where the support point was to be set.
Covered in material and behind a situated Buddha, the old relic differentiations to the extremely old sanctuary, which was remade by the French - the first was annihilated by Thai intruders in 1828.
