Watch the Sunset at the Keys View
It is well worth the effort to get to Keys View, a vantage point with expansive views of the Coachella Valley at a height of 5,000 feet. Sunset enthusiasts and lovers especially adore Keys View in Coachella Valley. As the sun begins to set, you can watch the horizon change to an intense tint of red, yellow, and orange.
From Keys View, you can view Palm Springs, the Salton Sea, and the San Andreas fault in the distance. You can see Mexico on a clear day. You can see an incredible panorama of desert landscapes if the weather is clear. This is a great chance to get acquainted with the local topography if you so choose.
You'll experience a big dip in temperature and a sharp change in the landscape as you climb. Therefore, we strongly advise that you carry some warm clothing for when you reach the peak. Additionally, put on appropriate footwear to prevent mishaps at Keys View.
