WPS Office

WPS Office is an office suite created by the Chinese software company Kingsoft. The software is free to download, but more features may be obtained through in-app purchases. WPS Writer, Presentation, and Spreadsheet are included in the suite. The WPS PDF reader is capable of converting PDF to WPS and reading Adobe PDF files. The software supports a variety of file formats, including DOC, RTF, DOT, PPTX, TXT, and HTML. All papers are Microsoft Office and Google Docs compatible.

The program lets you securely encrypt your files with passkeys, and the auto-save feature allows you to modify your papers without worrying about losing your work. Among the features are the ability to monitor changes, leave comments, and perform spell checks.

Another useful feature made possible by the software is the ability to deliver documents directly from your smartphone (or tablet) to a connected TV or projector. WPS for Android is also available in 47 other languages. The disadvantage here is that if you are not a paying subscriber, you will be given advertisements, which appear to be extremely obtrusive.
