Yarigakate
Mount Yari is one of the one hundred famous Japanese Mountains. The 3,180 meters -high (10,433 ft) top lies withinside the southern part of the Hida Mountains (Northern Alps) of Japan, at the border of Ōmachi and Matsumoto in Nagano Prefecture and Takayama in Gifu Prefecture. This is one of the highest mountains in Japan, and also in the world. The priest Banryū (1786–1840) based a temple there.
Mount Yari is positioned withinside the Chūbu-Sangaku National Park. The call derives from its shape, which resembles a spear thrust into the sky. During the trekking season, Mount Yari is famous for mountain climbers. One of the most notorious ridges is Kitayama.
