Although road markets promoting decorations and items are part of the celebration, Advent in Zagreb is some distance greater than a Christmas market.

From November to January 3, Croatia's capital town is a wonderland of lights, music, artwork, entertainment, and food. Colorful shows of lighting fixtures line the streets, fill the parks, and create scenic viewpoints everywhere in town. The fountain in Ban Josip Jelačić Square is converted right into a mild display, and there may be a large Christmas tree embellished with lights.

Lanterns light the promenades in Zrinjevac Park, which is a middle for musical performances and for pop-up studios, in which you could purchase artwork and homemade items. Other wood cabins promote warm chocolate; cookies; and different conventional meals which include strike, a cheese-stuffed pastry.
