When she resisted, the man ultimately threw a lead weight that struck Tubman instead of the other slave. She had no medical care because she was a slave. Her illnesses, which frequently include intense hallucinations, are thought to have been brought on by brain injury. She claimed to have seen multiple visions, all of which she felt were from God.

Later, she claimed that God had spoken to her every day of her life, not just once. Her decision to devote a significant portion of her life to aid in the liberation of the enslaved, especially during dangerous missions when her ill health made the task considerably riskier for her, was influenced by his guidance. She had the fortitude and bravery to carry out her plan because she believed she was under divine protection.

In order to line their pockets, it appears that some of these so-called men of God will go to any lengths. What about Oral Roberts, though?

When the renowned televangelist was seeking money for the institution that bears his name in 1987, he made headlines. He warned his congregation that if he didn't raise $8 million, God would take him home. In other words, unless people paid him $8 million, God threatened to murder Oral Roberts. Roberts has built a career out of using visions to raise money. He claimed to have once seen an angel and later sold figurines of it. He raised money by using a vision of a 900-foot-tall Jesus. He reportedly raised $9.1 million.

Arakelyan dug a seven-story deep system of caves beneath his house entirely by hand with a hammer and chisel. It descends 21 meters, has seven rooms, electricity, and a number of Arakelyan-created stone carvings. It is a museum right now. Once word of the dig got out, neighbors would drop over food to keep him going, but he frequently shooed them away for interfering.
