Avengers: Endgame is a 2019 American superhero film based on the superhero team Avengers from Marvel Comics. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, this film is the direct sequel to Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and the 22nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, the film features an ensemble cast including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd and Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, John Favreau, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, Josh Brolin. The surviving Avengers members and their allies in the film attempt to undo the destruction caused by Thanos in Infinity War.

In October 2014, the film was released as Avengers: Infinity War - Part 2, but the title was later removed by Marvel. The Russo brothers joined the team as managers in April 2015, and a month later Markus and McFeely signed up to write the script. The film serves as the conclusion of the MCU story up to this point, ending the story of some key characters. The plot revisits several moments from the previous film, bringing the actors and sets from throughout the franchise back to life. Filming began in August 2017 at the Pinewood Atlanta studio in Fayette County, Georgia, followed by Infinity War and ended in January 2018. Additional filming took place in the Metro and Downtown Atlanta area, New York State, Scotland and the United Kingdom. The official name was revealed in December 2018. With a budget of $356 million to $400 million, it is one of the most expensive films ever made.

Avengers: Endgame premiered in Los Angeles on April 22, 2019 and was released in the United States on April 26 as part of Phase 3 of the MCU. The film was praised for its director, acting, music score, action sequences, visual effects and emotional weight, and critics praised 22film's climax in the story. The film grossed $2.798 billion worldwide, surpassing all Infinity War screenings in just 11 days, becoming the highest-grossing film of all time from July 2019 to March 2021, setting numerous box office records. Avatar is a 2009 American epic science fiction film directed, written, produced and edited by James Cameron and starring Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, Michelle Rodriguez, and Sigourney Weaver. The film takes place in the mid-22nd century when humans colonize Pandora, a lush habitable moon of a gas giant in the Alpha Centauri system, to mine the precious mineral uoptanium. The expansion of the mining colonies threatens the survival of the local butterfly tribes, a humanoid race native to Pandora. The title of the film refers to a genetically engineered Na'vi body controlled by a distant human brain used to interact with the natives of Pandora. Development of the Avatar began in 1994 when Cameron wrote an 80-page description of the film. Filming follows the completion of Cameron's 1997 film 'Titanic', which is slated for release in 1999. However, according to Cameron, the skills needed to make his vision for the film come true are not yet available. Work on the Butterfly language began in 2005, and Cameron began developing the script and virtual world in early 2006. Avatar was officially budgeted at $237 million, due to a groundbreaking array of new visual effects Cameron achieved in cooperation with Weta Digital in Wellington. Other estimates put the cost between $280 million and $310 million for production and at $150 million for promotion. The film made extensive use of new motion capture filming techniques, and was released for traditional viewing, 3D viewing (using the RealD 3D, Dolby 3D, XpanD 3D, and IMAX 3D formats), and for "4D" experiences in selected South Korean theaters.

Avatar premiered in London on December 10, 2009, and was released in the United States on December 18 to positive reviews, with critics highly praising its groundbreaking visual effects. Adjusted for inflation, Avatar was the second-highest-grossing film of all time, behind Gone. Over $3 billion in total with Vetro. It also became the first film to gross over $2 billion and became the best-selling video of 2010 in the United States. Avatar was nominated for nine Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director, and won three for Best Picture, Best Cinematography, and Best Visual Effects. The film's success prompted electronics manufacturers to release 3D TVs, and 3D movies became popular. Following the success of the film, Cameron signed a contract with 20th Century Fox to produce four sequels. Titanic is a 1997 American epic novel and disaster film directed, written, produced and directed by James Cameron. Covering both historical and fictional aspects, this film is based on the story of the sinking of the Titanic and stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet as members of various social classes who fall in love while on board during their hapless maiden voyage.

Cameron was inspired by her passion for shipwrecks. He felt he needed a love story punctuated by loss of life to convey the emotional impact of the disaster. Production began in 1995 when Cameron filmed the actual wreck of the Titanic. A modern scene from the research vessel was filmed at Akademik Mstislav Keldysh, which Cameron used as a base for filming the wreck. Scale models, computer-generated renderings, and reconstructions of the Titanic produced by Baja Studios were used to recreate the sinking. The film was funded by Paramount Pictures and 20th Century Fox. The former dealt with North American distribution and the latter has released films internationally. At the time, it was the most expensive film ever made at a cost of $200 million.

Released on December 19, 1997, the Titanic was a major commercial success and later received much acclaim. Nominated for 14 Academy Awards, the film won 11, including Best Picture and Best Director, jointly with All About Eve (1950) for an Oscar nomination and BenHur (1959) for an Oscar nomination. "Oscar" won for one film. With an initial worldwide box office gross of over $1.84 billion, Titanic became the first film to cross the $1 billion mark. It remained the highest-grossing film of all time until Cameron's Avatar surpassed it in 2010. The 3D version of the Titanic, released on April 4, 2012, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the sinking, grossed an additional $343.6 million worldwide, increasing the film's gross worldwide gross. At $2.195 billion, it became the second film to gross over $2 billion (after Avatar). In 2017, the film was re-released to commemorate its 20th anniversary and was nominated for preservation by the US National Film Register.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (also known as Star Wars Episode VII - The Force Awakens) is a 2015 American epic space opera produced, written and directed by JJ Abrams. The sequel to Return of the Jedi (1983) is the seventh installment in the Skywalker saga. Set 30 years after Return of the Jedi, the Force Awakens follows Rey, Finn, Poe Dameron, and Han Solo in their search for Luke Skywalker and their fight against Kylo in the Resistance, led by General Leia Organa and a rebel ally veteran Ren and the First Order, the heirs of the Galactic Empire. The ensemble cast includes Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Max von Sydow.

The film was released after the Walt Disney Company acquired Lucasfilm in October 2012. The film is the first Star Wars film to not feature franchise creator George Lucas, who served only as a creative consultant during the early stages of production. The Force Awakens was created by Abrams, longtime collaborator Bryan Burke, and Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan, co-authors of the original trilogy, Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Return of the Jedi, rewrote the original script by Michael Arndt. John Williams, composer of previous cameo films, is back to compose the music. Principal photography began in April 2014 with a budget of $259-306 million and was completed in November of the following year. Filming took place at Pinewood Studios in the UK and primarily on location in Abu Dhabi, Iceland and Ireland.

The Force Awakens premiered in Los Angeles on December 14, 2015, and was released in the United States on December 18, 2015. It received positive reviews from critics for its screenplay, directing, leading role, music, special effects, and emotional weight. Some critics felt the film was too similar to A New Hope (1977). The film grossed $2 billion worldwide, breaking multiple box office records and becoming the highest-grossing film in the United States and Canada, the highest-grossing film of 2015 and the third-highest-grossing film at its time of release. It's an uploaded movie. It was nominated for five categories and made it to the 88th Academy Awards season, winning numerous awards. The Last Jedi (2017) and Skywalker. Rising (2019) completes the Star Wars sequel trilogy following The Force Awakens.

An ensemble cast will appear, including Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldanha, Josh Brolin and Chris Pratt. In the film, the Avengers and the Guardians try to stop Thanos from collecting the six almighty Infinity Stones as part of their quest to kill half of all life in the universe.

This film was released in October 2014 as Avengers: Infinity War - Part 1. The Russo brothers took on the role in April 2015, and a month later Markus and McFeely signed a contract to write a film inspired by Jim Starlin's 1991 Infinity Gauntlet and Jonathan Hickman's 2013 comic book. Avengers: Infinity War premiered in Los Angeles on April 23, 2018, and was released in the United States on April 27 as part of MCU Phase 3. The film has been praised for Brolin's acting, visuals, action sequences, and emotional weight, but has been criticized for relying on previous MCU films for its story. It became the fourth film and the first superhero film to gross over $2 billion worldwide, breaking numerous box office records and becoming the highest-grossing film of 2018, as well as the fourth-highest-grossing film worldwide and in the United States and Canada. The film's visual effects were nominated for the 91st Academy Awards, the 24th Critics' Choice Awards and the 72nd British Academy Film Awards. The sequel to Avengers: Endgame was released in April 2019.

Jurassic World is a 2015 American science fiction action film. It is the fourth installment in the Jurassic Park franchise and the first in the Jurassic World trilogy. Starring Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D'Onofrio, Ty Simpkins, along with Derek Connolly and Trevorrow in The Story of Jaffa and Silver, directed by Colin Trevorrow, written by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver and produced by Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley, Nick Robinson, Omar Sy, BD Wong, and Irrfan Khan. Jurassic World is set 22 years after the events of Jurassic Park on Isla Nublar, the same fictional island off Costa Rica's Pacific coast. A successful theme park of replica dinosaurs called Jurassic World has been operating on the island for many years, making John Hammond's dream come true. The park is thrown into chaos when a transgenic dinosaur escapes the fence and goes into chaos, and a conspiracy devised by park staff poses an even greater risk.

Universal Pictures was scheduled to begin production of a fourth Jurassic Park film in 2004 for a mid-2005 release, but was in development hell while the script was revised several times. At the suggestion of Executive Producer Steven Spielberg, writers Jaffa and Silver explored the idea of a functional dinosaur park. When Trevorrow was hired as a director in 2013, he followed the same thinking when developing a new script with Connolly. Filming took place in Louisiana and Hawaii from April to August 2014. The dinosaur was created by Industrial Light & Magic using CGI and Legacy Effects using life-size animatronics. Production ended in May 2015.

Jurassic World was released in the United States on June 12, 2015. The film received generally positive reviews from critics and was voted the third highest-grossing film of all time, grossing $1.6 billion at the box office. It was the second highest-grossing film of 2015 and also the highest-grossing film in the franchise. Two sequels have been released: Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018) and the upcoming Jurassic World Dominion (2022).

The Lion King is a 2019 American musical drama film written by Jeff Nathanson, directed and produced by John Favreau, and produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Fairview Entertainment. It is a realistic computer-animated remake of the classic 1994 Disney animated film of the same name. The film features the voices of Donald Glover, Seth Rogen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Alfre Woodard, Billy Eichner, John Kani, John Oliver, Florence Kasumba, Eric Andre, Keegan Michael Key, JD McCrary, Shahadi Wright Joseph, Beyonce Knowles Carter, and James. Earl Jones repeats his role in the original film. The plot follows Simba, a young lion, who must accept his role as the rightful king of his country after his father Mufasa is murdered at the hands of his uncle Scar. Plans for a 1994 remake of The Lion King were confirmed in September 2016 following the box office success of Disney remakes such as The Jungle Book (2016) directed by Favreau. Favreau was inspired by some of the character roles in the Broadway adaptation and developed elements of the original film plot. Most of the main cast were signed in early 2017, and major filming began in mid-2017 on the Blue Screen stage in Los Angeles. The "virtual reality tools" used to film The Jungle Book were more used during the filming of The Lion King. Composer Hans Zimmer, Elton John, and lyricist Tim Rice all worked on the original soundtrack and returned to compose the sheet music with KnowlesCarter, who helped John rework the soundtrack and write a new song for the movie "Spirit" she performed. The film serves as the final strength of editor Mark Livolsi and is dedicated to his memory. With a budget of around $260 million, it is one of the most expensive films ever made.

The Lion King premiered in Hollywood on July 9, 2019, and was released in the United States on July 19, 2019 in Dolby Cinema, RealD 3D, and IMAX. It grossed over $1.6 billion worldwide during its theatrical run, beating Frozen to become the highest-grossing animated film of all time. It also became the seventh-highest-grossing film of all time and the second-highest-grossing film of 2019. The Lion King received mixed reviews from critics, with praise for its visuals, music, and vocal performances (especially Rogen and Eichner) and criticism for its lack of originality. The film was nominated for Best Animated Feature Film and Original Song at the 77th Golden Globe Awards and the 25th Critics' Choice Awards. It was also nominated for visual effects at the 73rd and 92nd British Academy Film Awards. A sequel is in development and will be directed by Barry Jenkins.

Written and directed by Joss Whedon, the film features Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner (The Avengers), Tom Hiddleston, Clark Gregg, Cobie Smulders, Stellan Skarsgard. and Samuel L. Jackson. In the film, Nick Fury and spy agency S.H.I.E.L.D. Recruit Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Bruce Banner and Thor to form a team to stop Thor's brother Loki from conquering Earth.

Film development began in April 2005 when Marvel Studios received a loan from Merrill Lynch. Following Iron Man's success in May 2008, Marvel announced that the Avengers would hit theaters in July 2011, starring Tony Stark (Downy, Steve Rogers (Evans), Bruce Banner (Ruffalo), and Thor (Hemsworth) from the previous Marvel movies. After Johansson was signed for the role of Natasha Romanov in March 2009, the film's release was delayed to 2012. Whedon joined in April 2010 to rewrite Zack Penn's original script. Production began in Albuquerque, New Mexico in April 2011 and moved to Cleveland, Ohio in August and New York in September. There are over 2,200 visual effects scenes in this film. Avengers
premiered in Los Angeles on April 11, 2012, and was released in the United States on May 4 as the final film in the first phase of the MCU. The film received acclaim for Whedon's director and screenplay, visual effects, action sequences, acting and music, and was nominated for numerous awards and nominations, including an Academy Award and BAFTA nomination for visual effects. The film grossed over $1.5 billion worldwide, set numerous box office records, became the third-highest-grossing film at its time of release and the highest-grossing film of 2012, and the first Marvel film to cross $1 billion ticket sales.

In 2017, The Avengers was named one of the 100 Greatest Movies by Empire magazine. Three sequels have been released: Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and Avengers: Endgame (2019).

Fast and Furious 7 (also known as Fast and Furious 7) is a 2015 American action film directed by James Wan and written by Chris Morgan. It is the sequel to Fast and Furious 6 (2013) and Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006), the seventh installment in the Fast and Furious series. The film stars Vin Diesel, the late Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Simon Hounsou, Kurt Russell and Jason Statham. The film features Dominic Toretto, Brian O'Conner, and the rest of the team as well as Deckard Shaw, a rogue SWAT assassin seeking revenge, who have been pardoned for past crimes and returned to the United States to lead a normal life. The younger brother, who falls into a coma, puts the team at risk again. This was Paul Walker's last appearance of his character O'Connor in the film since his death on November 30, 2013. The release plans for 7 were first announced in February 2012 when Johnson announced that the film would begin production after Fast and Furious 6 was completed. In April 2013, it was announced that Wang, who is mainly known for his horror films, would be directing. In the same month, casting began, showing the return of Diesel and Walker. Principal photography began in Atlanta that September, but was put on hold indefinitely in November after Walker's death. Filming resumed in April 2014 and ended in July with Walkers brothers Caleb and Cody taking over to complete the rest of the scene, delaying the 2015 release date. Along with other filming locations including Los Angeles, Colorado, Abu Dhabi and Tokyo. With an estimated production budget of up to $250 million, it is one of the most expensive films ever made.

Fast and Furious 7 premiered on April 1, 2015 in Los Angeles and on April 3 in the United States, exactly six years after the release of the fourth film. At its release, the film was a critical and financial success, receiving praise for the film's action scenes and emotional tribute to Walker. It grossed $397.6 million worldwide in its opening weekend, a record high at the time. The film grossed over $1.5 billion worldwide and became the third-highest-grossing film of 2015 and the fourth-highest-grossing film at its time of release. It is the highest-grossing film at the domestic box office in 2015. Additionally, Fast and Furious 7 became the franchise's highest-grossing film in its first 12 days of release and continues to be the franchise's highest-grossing film to date. The sequel, The Fate of the Furious, was released in April 2017.

Frozen 2 is a 2019 American computer-animated musical fantasy film, the 58th film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and the sequel to Frozen (2013). Directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, written by Lee and produced by Peter Del Vecho, the film stars Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Josh Gad and Jonathan Groff. Frozen 2 is set three years after the release of the first movie. Sister Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Sven the reindeer, and Olaf the snowman go to the Enchanted Forest to uncover the source of Elsa's magic.

The film was approved in March 2015 after company discussions over whether it would be perceived as inferior to the original.
