    Nokia

Finnish multinational telecommunications, IT, and consumer electronics business Nokia (formerly Nokia Oyj, referred to as Nokia) was founded in 1865. While Nokia has its primary offices in Espoo, Finland (part of the greater Helsinki metropolitan area), the company can trace its history back to the Tampere region of Pirkanmaa. In 2020, Nokia had 92,000 employees working in over 100 countries, was active in over 130 markets, and generated over €23 billion in yearly sales. Nokia, listed on both the Helsinki Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange, is a public limited corporation. According to the Fortune Global 500, based on 2016 revenue, it dropped from 85th to 415th place since its 2009 peak. It is included in the stock market benchmark, the Euro Stoxx 50.

Over the course of its 150-year history, the company has dabbled in a wide range of markets. Originally associated with rubber and cables, the company shifted its focus in the 1990s to building out and licensing telecommunications infrastructure. The mobile telephone market would not be where it is today without Nokia's assistance in creating the GSM, 3G, and LTE standards. Starting in 1998, Nokia dominated the global mobile phone market for ten years. However, Nokia's share of the mobile phone market dropped sharply in the later 2000s due to a series of poor management decisions.

    TietoEVRY

Finnish IT software and service provider Tietoevry Oyj (Tieto before Jun 2019), also known as Tietoevry Corporation (Tieto), offers both IT and product engineering services. Shares of Tietoevry are traded on the NASDAQ OMX Helsinki, NASDAQ OMX Stockholm, and Oslo Stock Exchanges. The company is headquartered in Espoo, Finland. Customers in the energy, forestry, finance, and healthcare industries are among Tietoevry's about 24,000 employees worldwide.

The company was founded in 1968 as Tietotehdas Oy in Espoo, Finland. The Union Bank of Finland (Suomen Yhdyspankki, now Nordea) and its customers, as well as a few forestry enterprises, were the primary clients of the company during its formative years, for whom it developed and maintained IT systems.

As mini-computers joined the company's mainframe computers in the 1970s, the company's customer base expanded. Tietotehdas' core business was the creation of IT systems, alongside the provision of mainframe computer services and software. Many different commercial sectors were represented by the company's clientele. The corporation expanded rapidly through several mergers and strategic collaborations in the 1990s. The Finnish government's computer center was purchased by Tietotehdas in December 1995. The brand new firm's name is TT Tieto Oy.

    Qt Group

The Qt Company is a Finnish software development firm situated in Espoo. The name is pronounced "cute" and the company was originally known as Trolltech and Quasar Technologies. It manages the Qt Project, where its application framework is being created. It originated from Digia's purchase of Qt and subsequent separation of that business into its own publicly traded entity.

Its headquarters are in Oslo, Norway, and it has major research and development and engineering operations in Berlin, Germany, and Oulu, Finland. The Qt Group maintains offices in China, Finland, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Norway, the United States, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, and India.

The business offers software development services, including both consultation and frameworks. Qt, a C++ framework for creating graphical user interfaces (GUIs), is the company's flagship product. Bindings for other languages, such Python, make Qt accessible to a wider audience than just C++ app developers. Data structures and a networking framework are just two of the packages available in Qt. The Qt library is used in the widely used, free, and cross-platform KDE Plasma desktop environment for program compilation. Several KDE developers are also on staff at this company.

    Trolltech
released its Qt-based Qtopia operating system in 2001. Qtopia is an open source software platform for Linux-based mobile phones, portable media players, and home theater PCs. It's also widely employed in things like medical equipment and factory machinery. Their Greenphone smartphone is based on the Qtopia Phone Edition, which was released in 2004.

    Terveystalo

Terveystalo is a healthcare provider based in Finland. Terveystalo serves individuals, businesses, insurance providers, and the government at more than 180 locations across Finland, providing primary care, occupational medicine, and hospital care. Terveystalo has been around since the 1940s, when the first of the company's daughter firms was established.

In 2001, Terveystalo got its start when Vaajakosen Lääkäriasema Oy and the Medipa Oy clinics in Alajärvi, Kauhava, and Härmä all joined the company. From 2002 to 2007, the corporation expanded by more than a hundred corporate and business agreements, and that expansion has continued. The company's listing on Nasdaq Helsinki in the beginning of 2007 undoubtedly played a role in this expansion.

In June 2007, Suomen Terveystalo Oyj paid EUR127,000,000 to acquire Medivire Työterveyspalvelut Oyj, a company that had been in operation since 1995. The merger made Suomen Terveystalo Oyj the largest private healthcare provider in Finland.[3][4] The company formerly known as Medivire Työterveyspalvelut Oy changed its name in December 2007 to Suomen Terveystalo Työterveyspalvelut Oy; however, the former name was retained as an alternate.

    Espeo Software

When it comes to its engine and business structure, Esper goes above and beyond the SQL-92 standard by including features like Aggregate function, Pattern matching, event windowing, and joining. Event-driven programming and event-driven architecture are both supported in the Esper framework.

The software company EsperTech Inc. developed Esper in 2006. It provides access to Event Processing Language (EPL), a domain-specific language designed for handling events. EPL is a Declarative programming language used for real-time event analysis and detection.

Although originally written in Java, Esper has been ported to C# and is now available for the.NET Framework as NEsper. The Esper Enterprise Edition from EsperTech Inc. has been designed to meet the needs of large organizations.
