  1. Pierre Gasly is a French racing driver who currently competes in Formula One with Scuderia AlphaTauri under the French flag. He won the 2016 GP2 Series, as well as the 2014 Formula Renault 3.5 Series and the 2017 Super Formula Championship. At the 2017 Malaysian Grand Prix, he made his Formula One debut with Toro Rosso. He joined Red Bull Racing in 2019 but returned after exchanging with Toro Rosso's Alexander Albon between the Hungarian and Belgian races to partner with Daniil Kvyat. Gasly won his first Formula One race for AlphaTauri at the 2020 Italian Grand Prix.

    was born in Rouen, France, to father Jean Jacques Gasly and mother Pascale, and his family has a long history in racing. His grandparents raced karts, and his father, Jean Jacques, has raced in a variety of categories, including karting, endurance racing, and rallying. Gasly is the youngest of four half brothers, including two maternal from his mother's previous marriage, Nicolas Caron and Cyril Caron, and two paternal from his father's previous marriage, Phillipe Gasly and Paul Gasly.


    Gasly initially tried karting at the age of six at a local karting circuit in Anneville-Ambourville. Gasly grew up with the late Anthoine Hubert, karting with him at the age of seven, attending the same private school, and living as roommates for several years. He was very close to Charles Leclerc and Esteban Ocon during the early stages of his karting career. He relocated to Milan in 2019. Gasly also speaks Italian and English in addition to his native French.

  2. Max Verstappen is a Belgian-Dutch racing driver who currently competes in Formula One for Red Bull Racing under the Dutch flag. He became Formula One's youngest driver in the 2015 Australian Grand Prix when he was 17 years, 166 days old. He has a number of additional "firsts" in Formula One.


    After completing the 2015 season with Scuderia Toro Rosso, he began the 2016 season with the Italian team before being promoted to parent team Red Bull Racing as a replacement for Daniil Kvyat after four races. He won the 2016 Spanish Grand Prix on his debut for Red Bull Racing at the age of 18, becoming the youngest-ever driver and the first Dutch driver to do it.


    Over the next five seasons, he won numerous additional races, including the first for a Honda-powered driver since 2006. He finished third in both the 2019 and 2020 championships. Verstappen signed a contract extension with Red Bull that will keep him at the team until the conclusion of the 2023 season. He is the son of Jos Verstappen, a former Formula One racer.

  3. Carlos Sainz Jr. is a Spanish racing driver who drives for Scuderia Ferrari in Formula One. He is the son of quadruple World Rally Champion Carlos Sainz and the nephew of rally racer Antonio Sainz. Sainz drove for Carlin in the British and European Formula 3 championships in 2012. He won the Formula Renault 3.5 title with DAMS in 2014 before transferring to F1 with Toro Rosso.


    Sainz joined McLaren for the 2019 season after his contract with Red Bull Racing expired. Sainz finished third in his first Formula One race, the 2019 Brazilian Grand Prix. Sainz gained another podium the following year, finishing second at Monza before joining Ferrari at the conclusion of the season. Sainz earned his third and fourth podiums for Scuderia Ferrari by finishing second in the 2021 Monaco Grand Prix and third at the 2021 Hungarian Grand Prix.

  4. Lando Norris, at 17, was recruited as McLaren's test and reserve driver. In 2017, he replaced the team's outgoing driver, 2009 world champion Jenson Button, after a good performance in testing at the Hungaroring.


    Norris, like Button, tried out a kart for the first time at the Clay Pigeon kart circuit. Norris and his elder brother Oliver began competing in karting events when they were seven years old.


    The Norris brothers had the support of their father, Adam Norris, a director at financial services firm Hargreaves Lansdown who eventually founded his own investing firm. In 2016, he was believed to be worth more than £200 million. He is on the list of most famous racing in the world.


    Lando Norris participated in both the KF and Rotax karting divisions at one point, at the suggestion of his father, to extend his experience and give him a feel for other types of equipment and tyres. Lando delivered an incredible series of titles as a result of the intense training.

    He won the 2013 WSK Euro series with one round remaining. Despite missing out on the European KF title the following year, he won the global KF championship in 2014.

  5. Lewis Hamilton, full name Lewis Carl Hamilton, is a British race car driver who was a Formula One (F1) Grand Prix racing driver. He holds the F1 record for most career race victories and is tied for the most drivers' titles with Michael Schumacher (seven). He became the first Black driver to win the Formula One World Drivers' Championship in 2008.


    Changes to the regulations in 2014, which required the use of turbo-hybrid engines, marked the beginning of a hugely successful phase for Hamilton, during which he won six more drivers' titles. During a fierce duel with teammate Nico Rosberg, he won two consecutive championships in 2014 and 2015. Following Rosberg's retirement, Sebastian Vettel of Ferrari became Hamilton's closest competitor in two dramatic championship clashes in which Hamilton twice overcame mid-season point deficits to win successive titles in 2017 and 2018. In 2019 and 2020, he won his third and fourth straight titles, tying Schumacher's record of seven driver titles.

  6. Sergio Pérez Mendoza, nicknamed "Checo," is a Mexican racing driver who drives for Red Bull Racing in Formula One after previously driving for Sauber, McLaren, Force India, and Racing Point. At the 2020 Sakhir Grand Prix, he won his maiden Formula One Grand Prix, breaking the record of 190 starts before a race win.


    Until 2012, Pérez was a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy. During the 2011 season, he made his Formula One debut for Sauber. With Sauber, he won his first Formula One podium at the 2012 Malaysian Grand Prix. He was dubbed "The Mexican Wunderkind" because of his early age and talent. Pérez joined McLaren for the 2013 season, however the team did not finish on the podium. As a result, the organization chose to replace Pérez with Kevin Magnussen for the 2014 season.


    Force India signed Pérez to a €15 million contract for the 2014 season. He stayed with Force India when the team went bankrupt in 2018 and reconstituted as the Racing Point squad in 2019. Racing Point announced a three-year agreement with Pérez in 2019. Racing Point stated in September 2020 that Pérez would be departing the team at the conclusion of the season because Sebastian Vettel, a four-time F1 world champion, had been contracted to replace him. Pérez then joined with Red Bull Racing for the 2021 season, taking over for Alex Albon. Pérez then won the 2021 Azerbaijan Grand Prix with the team, his second Formula 1 Grand Prix victory.

    He is the son of Jan Magnussen, a four-time Le Mans GT class champion, GM factory driver, and former Formula One driver. Kevin Magnussen rose through the ranks of the McLaren Formula One team's Young Driver Programme and raced for the team in the 2014 Formula One World Championship before joining Renault in 2016. Magnussen was a Haas driver from 2017 until the end of the 2020 season.

While he eventually slipped back throughout the race, he managed to finish eighth. After the race, it was decided that Haas had violated team radio regulations by instructing both drivers to pit at the end of the formation lap, and Magnussen was penalized ten seconds. This dropped him to ninth place, and Magnussen scored his and Haas' first point of the season. Magnussen retired after a power unit failure in the Italian Grand Prix and was rear-ended in a multi-car crash in the Tuscan Grand Prix, marking his fifth retirement in nine races.
