Carlos Sainz Jr
Carlos Sainz Jr. is a Spanish racing driver who drives for Scuderia Ferrari in Formula One. He is the son of quadruple World Rally Champion Carlos Sainz and the nephew of rally racer Antonio Sainz. Sainz drove for Carlin in the British and European Formula 3 championships in 2012. He won the Formula Renault 3.5 title with DAMS in 2014 before transferring to F1 with Toro Rosso.
Sainz joined McLaren for the 2019 season after his contract with Red Bull Racing expired. Sainz finished third in his first Formula One race, the 2019 Brazilian Grand Prix. Sainz gained another podium the following year, finishing second at Monza before joining Ferrari at the conclusion of the season. Sainz earned his third and fourth podiums for Scuderia Ferrari by finishing second in the 2021 Monaco Grand Prix and third at the 2021 Hungarian Grand Prix.
