Upon hearing that Ji-hyung's parents set the date for his wedding, Seo-yeon splits up with him. She receives a diagnosis of early-onset Alzheimer's, a very improbable condition for a 30-year-old woman, so she has little time to mourn her traumatic separation. Just two days before the wedding, Ji-hyung learns the surprising information and decides to return to his ex-girlfriend.
He never loses up on her and marries her right away against the adamant resistance of his parents and even Seo-yeon herself. The loyal husband is committed to caring for his unwell wife who is deteriorating her memory. The pair makes an effort to hold onto their love and feel it till the very end despite her unpleasant condition. Even though they are both well aware that a horrible end is coming for them, they have a daughter and occasionally find happiness in their marriage.
