Sweet Stranger and Me (2016)

The 2015 webtoon of the same name by Yoo Hyun-sook served as the basis for the 2016 South Korean television series Sweet Stranger and Me. It was shown on KBS2 every Monday and Tuesday at 22:00 (KST). Soo Ae plays Hong Na-ri, an assertive yet thorough flight attendant for Asiana Airlines who have difficulties controlling her emotions and relies too much on intuition. When Jo Dong-jin, her nine-year lover whom she had intended to marry, betrays her by having an affair with a coworker named Do Yeo-joo, she is left in the dark. Na-ri first disbelieves her stepfather Go Nan-gil and sees him as a scam man. But in time, she begins to appreciate him and form close bonds with him. She is still trying to locate her biological father, Hong Sung-kyu.

A proud flight attendant named Hong Na Ri experiences a string of bad luck after the death of her mother and the revelation that her lifelong fiancé, Jo Dong Jin, is having an affair with another flight attendant, Do Yeo Joo. Na Ri visits her mother's house to escape her problems, but when she arrives she discovers a charming young guy named Go Nan Gil living there and managing her mother's dumpling shop. Nan Gil informs Na Ri that he is her father, which is astonishing considering that they were married before Na Ri's mother passed away! Rich businessman Kwon Duk Bong wants to assist Na Ri in reclaiming her mother's property so that he may use it for development. Can he assist Na Ri in establishing that Nan Gil is a liar and conman?
