A trip to Los Angeles
There is more than enough here to keep you occupied whether you are a culture vulture, an outdoorsy type, or just a fan of our beautiful city. Even residents of Los Angeles for their whole lives will discover something new to add to their bucket list amid the city's historic sites that are still open to the public, the greatest restaurants in Los Angeles, the must-see L.A. museums, and even some hidden gems.
Although Napa Valley is well known for being a top wine region, California is home to other wine-producing hotspots as well. Sonoma is regarded as Napa's less formal sibling and offers a greater variety of attractions, including Sonoma Coast State Park and Safari West, a safari park that provides guests with African-style game drives. The Santa Ynez Valley, one of the nation's most diverse grape-growing regions, is accessible by traveling further south.
In the meantime, the member wineries of Temecula Valley Wine Country, which is located north of San Diego County, have created hundreds of award-winning wines. There are so many wine areas in California—12 to be exact—that chances are you can drive to at least one of them from anywhere in the state.
