AccuWeather Inc. is a media firm based in the United States that provides commercial weather forecasting services across the world. AccuWeather was started in 1962 by Joel N. Myers, then a graduate student at Pennsylvania State University pursuing a master's degree in meteorology. His first client was a Pennsylvania gas business. Myers was also a member of Penn State's meteorology faculty while running his firm. In 1971, the corporation changed its name to "AccuWeather".

When you launch AccuWeather, you'll see a snapshot of the day's weather, including current conditions, the "RealFeel" temperature in the sun or shade, the UV index, and wind speed, as well as a forecast for the following day. You may also choose whether you want the weather app to remind you to carry a jacket or an umbrella. Continue scrolling to view the different allergy levels (such as tree, grass, and ragweed pollen) broken down for the day. You may check hourly and daily temperatures, as well as a radar map, at the top. There's also a news category with brief news videos.
