Carrot Weather takes a more playful, lighter approach to weather forecasting. The main page features some great artwork as well as a strong welcome statement. In the options, you may modify the app's "personality" to friendly, sardonic, homicidal, or overkill (including profanity), as well as its politics. From spooky fog to torrential downpours, CARROT’s dialogue and scenery change in “unexpected” ways. You’ll actually be looking forward to a blizzard just to see what CARROT has in store for you!
In comparison to some of the others, the app is quite simple: Its webpage displays the current temperature as well as an hourly and weekly forecast. There is also a tab for weather alert alerts. You may also play a built-in geography game. You must view an advertisement if you need a hint.
Carrot Weather obtains its data from Dark Sky and Weather Underground, so when you request weather, your location information is also shared with them, according to its privacy policy. Your location data may also be used to support third-party advertisements. You may email the corporation for a copy of your information, and you can erase it from the app's settings. Carrot Weather is free to download, or you can upgrade to the Premium Club for $1 per month or $4 per year to remove ads, add widgets to your screen, and view weather reports from up to 70 years ago.
