Adidas Golden KB8

These shoes, first seen in 1995, were designed for the 1998 Slam Dunk Contest and Kobe Bryant, who wore the number 8 on his shirt at the time. When Kobe left Adidas in 2002 as previously stated, the company was renamed Crazy 8. Kobe wore them solely as a manufacturing test, which was eventually abandoned.

Only two pairs were ever created, one with black, white, and blue tones and the other with black, white, and yellow tones. When they were auctioned off, they fetched $3,000, good for eighth place on the list of the world's most expensive basketball sneakers.
