Air Jordan I
The first Jordan shoes, the Air Jordan I, were released in 1985 in a very small run of only 12 pairs. Michael Jordan personally autographed each pair with a water-resistant marker, and the magnificent black and red pattern matched the Chicago Bulls' outfit at the time. The original signed release is now valued at about $25,000 USD.
With those characteristics, the shoes took 5th place in the list of the most expensive basketball shoes compiled by Toplist. The shoes are still valuable and popular with both basketball players and sneaker enthusiasts.
