All Aeroméxico passengers are permitted to check one carry-on bag and one personal item. But be aware with the weight restriction: These two things cannot weigh more than 22 pounds together for international or basic fare flights inside Mexico. Hence, if your carry-on bag is 15 pounds, for example, your personal item cannot be more than 7 pounds.

If your carry-on luggage or personal items do not meet the maximum size and weight limits, they will be regarded as excess baggage and subject to an extra fee based on your fare. You are free to bring any necessary medical equipment on the plane if it is necessary for your mobility. Even if your bags fulfill the requirements outlined in the carry-on luggage rules, operational concerns may prohibit them from being accepted in the cabin for your safety and the protection of your fellow passengers. Should this occur, your baggage will travel as check-in baggage at no additional cost.
