African Methodist Episcopal University
African Methodist Episcopal University (AMEU) in Monrovia is one of the best universities in Liberia. It was founded in 1995 as a for-profit private organization. The Liberian Ministry of Education has formally accredited the institution, which has a total enrollment of roughly 5,999 students. AMEU is known for the high quality of its curriculum, a demanding admissions process, and its status as a scientific research center.
In general, the institution offers undergraduate and graduate programs organized by academic faculties. Currently, the National University of San Marcos is one of the ten research universities in Peru, out of more than 80. African Methodist Episcopal University provides financial aid to students in the form of scholarships in addition to the school programs. Each semester, these grants are given out based on donor needs and availability.
This Liberian higher-education school, which is 25 years old, has a selective admission procedure based on entrance exams. The admittance rate ranges from 30 to 40%, making this Liberian higher education school exceptionally exclusive. International students are welcome to apply for admission.
