The University of Liberia (UL) was founded in 1951 and is one of the best universities in Liberia. It is a public institution with a total enrollment of 19,999 students and is primarily funded by the Liberian government. Capitol Hill, Fendall, Medical School Fendall, and the Starz-Sinji campus in Sinji, Grand Cape Mount County, are the university's four campuses.


"Preparing men and women for teaching, research, public and private service, and contributing to the attainment of the Millennium Development Goals for sustainable human development," says the institution. University of Liberia is made up of six schools that offer courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in a variety of fields, including pre-bachelor degrees, bachelor's degrees, and master's degrees.

This 69-year-old Liberian university has a selective admission procedure based on entrance exams.
