Andrea Bocelli

On September 22, 1958, Bocelli was born to Alessandro and Edi Bocelli. Doctors urged the parents to terminate him since the child was likely to be born with a handicap. Bocelli's vision was clearly impaired from birth, and he was subsequently diagnosed with congenital glaucoma. He added that his mother's decision to give birth to him against the doctor's advise inspired him to reject abortion. Bocelli grew up on his family's farm in the small town of La Sterza, a frazione of Lajatico, Tuscany, Italy, some 40 kilometers (25 miles) south of Pisa.

Bocelli is an Italian tenor and songwriter with impaired eyesight. Despite his impairment, he has a remarkable musical talent, and he can play practically any instrument we've ever heard of. His voice is also extremely angelic. His nice and warm voice gives us goosebumps. David Foster even remarked that Bocelli's voice is the most beautiful he has ever heard.
