Freddie Mercury
Freddie Mercury (born Farrokh Bulsara; 5 September 1946 – 24 November 1991) was a British singer, composer, record producer, and lead vocalist of Queen. He was regarded as one of the best vocalists in rock music history, famed for his flamboyant stage attitude and four-octave vocal range. Mercury bucked rock leader standards, with his highly theatrical manner shaping Queen's artistic direction.
Freddie was a brilliant lyricist and a very good vocalist, with a clean and strong voice. Many people attempt to duplicate his sound, but the original remains unrivaled. His songs are also ageless; we still listen to them frequently, and they are covered and sung worldwide. When they first began out as Queen, Freddie informed Brian May that he didn't want to be a pop star, but a LEGEND. He is, indeed, a legend right now.
