Louis Armstrong
Armstrong was born on August 4, 1901, in New Orleans. Mary Albert and William Armstrong were his parents. Mary Albert was from Boutte, Louisiana, and had her first child at the age of sixteen at home. Soon after, William Armstrong abandoned the family. Albert reared his daughter, Beatrice "Mama Lucy" Armstrong, who was born around two years later. Louis Armstrong was reared by his grandmother until he was five years old, at which point he was returned to his mother. He grew up in a harsh neighborhood known as The Battlefield, where he spent his childhood in poverty. He began attending the Fisk School for Boys at the age of six, a school that welcomed black pupils in New Orleans' racially divided system.
It's a bit difficult for us to settle on the following location's name. But then we recall this wonderful individual who has a very uncommon voice and was never even attempted to sound like that. It was his speaking voice at first! Listen to Louis Armstrong's amazing and lovely voice.
