Andy Williams
Howard Andrew Williams (December 3, 1927 – September 25, 2012) was an American singer. During his career he recorded 43 albums, 15 of them gold and 3 platinum. He was also nominated for six Grammy Awards. From 1962 to 1971 he hosted the television entertainment show The Andy Williams Show and numerous television shows.
The Andy Williams Show has won three Emmys. The Moon River Theater in Branson, Missouri is named after Henry Mancini and Johnny Mercer's best-known song "Moon River". He has sold over 45 million records worldwide, including over 10 million certified copies in the United States. Williams worked in the music industry for over 70 years, until his death in 2012.
