Anne Freeman

Ann is an experienced dispute resolution attorney who works with clients to achieve the most effective and best outcome when disputes arise. Ann has represented both large multinationals and small businesses and individuals. She has been involved in a wide range of commercial disputes, including representing parties at all levels of the Royal Commission, Courts and Tribunals in the UK as well as several Australian states.

Ann has represented plaintiffs and defendants in commercial and other class actions. She regularly advises clients on their contractual obligations and possible actions to the contracting parties, including actions for breach of law and negligence, such as competition and consumer protection laws and corporate law, and protects clients from these claims... Ann also has experience prosecuting and defending professional liability and insurance claims.

Ann has handled litigation for clients in a variety of sectors and industries including energy and resources, healthcare, transportation, wine and retail. She handled disputes arising from complex construction and procurement contracts, real estate acquisitions, and joint venture relationships.
Ann has experience with several alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, including arbitration, expert opinion and arbitration.

Ann is on the editorial board of the LexisNexis Competition and Consumer Law News, with which she regularly participates.
