Aquatic Wildlife Cruises & Bird Sightings
In close proximity to Jinja, The Nile leaves Lake Victoria. You can visit Murchison Falls to witness the Victoria Nile erupt out of a small 8-meter crevice in the rocks and flow roaringly into the Devil's Cauldron below. As you cruise along the river and delta, take in the breathtaking sight of a perpetual rainbow that floats over the falls. You'll also be able to see a variety of wildlife drinking at the water's edge and numerous species of aquatic birds fishing in the river.
You can take a cruise in the Kazinga Channel, a natural river that links Lake George and Lake Edward, if you visit Queen Elizabeth National Park. You'll see crocodiles, whose jaws gape as they soak up the sun while digesting their food, in addition to pods of hippos that lurk in the shallows. You can enjoy cocktails as the sunset light turns the water into a gorgeous shade of gold while watching the sunset on the waterway.
