Assassination Classroom
Based on the manga by Ysei Matsui that was written and illustrated, Assassination Classroom is an anime series. The Lerche-produced anime version debuted in Japan from January to June 2015 for its first season, and then from January to July 2016 for its second season, Assassination Classroom Second Season. The plot centers on a group of junior high school students at Kunugigaoka who are given the odd assignment of killing their extraterrestrial teacher, Koro-sensei. Powerful octopus-like Koro-sensei has already decimated a significant chunk of the moon and declares that he will destroy Earth in a year. The students must cope with their own personal troubles and progress while simultaneously figuring out how to kill their superhuman and seemingly unkillable teacher in order to save the Earth.
In Assassination Classroom, there are elements of comedy, drama, and action. It examines issues like friendship, personal development, and the importance of education. The television show explores the pupils' problems as well as their attempts to kill Koro-sensei using a variety of inventive techniques.
