Aussie Broadband
Aussie Broadband is an Australian telecommunications service provider (ISP) providing internet, mobile and other telephone services to Australians. Australian owned, it is headquartered in Morwell, Victoria, with other offices in Lynbrook (Victoria), Darwin (NT) and remote staff scattered across Australia. It is one of the largest employers in the Latrobe Valley area.
The company was established in 2008 following the merger of Wideband Networks Pty Ltd and Westvic Broadband Pty Ltd.
Its primary focus is on providing NBN internet connectivity and is the first telecommunications company outside the "Big Four" to provide the infrastructure for all 121 points of connection (POIs) across Australia. Aussie Broadband is the fifth largest of the new NBN connections in Australia.
