As was the case with its prequel, The Avengers, the follow-up Avengers: Age of Ultron stood a high chance of being a new smash success. And it occurred again, despite the fact that the evaluations were more scathing than last time.

Some fans were dissatisfied with the Hulk's relationship with Black Widow or with the overall depiction of Ultron, the film's major antagonist. On a brighter note, the film introduced Wanda Maximoff and Vision, who would eventually play significant roles in the Marvel Universe and even launch the Marvel + Disney TV world six years later.
