Backland

Backland is a new resort opening in 2022 that offers four glamping options: the Suite, Grand Suite, Sky Suite, and Grand Sky Suite. The last two have a 16-foot skylight over the bed with a view of the stars, but all four have panoramic windows with breath-taking vistas of the Arizona wilderness. Each tent has a king-sized bed, a full bathroom with a shower, luxury linens, power, automated climate control, an outdoor patio, a coffee machine, a mini-fridge, housekeeping, and some toiletries. Tents can sleep up to four or six people, plus no more than two pets.

However, Backland deliberately doesn't provide Wi-Fi because they want their visitors to unplug while they're there. You can enjoy horseback riding, bird viewing, stargazing, geocaching, electric bicycling, baking s'mores over a campfire, and other activities rather than doomscrolling on social media. A restaurant, spa, and pond with a beach are also present. Less than 15 miles separate Backland from Williams, Arizona's main drag. The resort is also close to some of the top tourist destinations in Arizona, including Sedona, which is approximately 60 miles away, Flagstaff, which is only about 40 miles away, and the Grand Canyon National Park, which is only about 60 miles away.
