Cuyuna Cove
Cuyuna Cove offers cozy cabins throughout the year, but from May through October, guests also have the option of staying in a glamping tent. Each tent accommodates two adults in a queen bed, with the option of two additional fold-out cots for small children in various configurations. Additionally, tents come equipped with a heated blanket or oscillating fan, a noisemaker, a French press with organic coffee beans, charging ports, a vintage light, the ever-essential wine opener, and more. Each campsite has a fire pit with a grilling grate, a hammock, a table, and camp chairs outside. An indoor/outdoor bathhouse has toilets and showers as well as free shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
Cuyuna Cove makes it easier for you to take advantage of activities like different kinds of biking and water sports on the lake by providing bike storage at the tents and free use of two inflatable paddleboards. A redwood sauna in the Nordic design is there for you when you're prepared to take it easy. You can also visit the nearby historic Main Street of Crosby, a former mining community, which is home to a number of eateries, coffee shops, and breweries. Cuyuna Cove is a great weekend vacation location for city folks because it is only around 125 miles north of Minneapolis.
