You can get to Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru in 25 minutes by speedboat from Velana International Airport. Vabbinfaru's velvety sand, almost a complete circle, frames the entire coastline, with the best of the beach on the western side, which fades into the largest part of the island's huge lagoon.
