With a breezy outdoor patio on the eighth story and a menu influenced by the coastal cafes of Spain and Portugal, Bar Avec, which is located above the Avec River North location, evokes the Iberian Peninsula. The 1,200 square foot area is furnished with summer-ready seaside decor that does a passable job of imitating the real thing, from lush foliage and a rosemary plant trellis at the entranceway to blue and white tiling and low-slung Adico chairs.
