Beau Jardin

The city of Natchitoches' outdoor garden and water feature is called Beau Jardin. Beau Jardin can be rented for special events. Beau Jardin has a winding brick staircase leading to a series of stone landings surrounded by ironwork and curved brick walls. A series of spectacular waterfalls flow down the hillside with a series of smaller waterfalls, eventually flowing into a stream bed that flows into Cane River Lake, along the staircase. Visitors can cross from one section to another using wooden bridges. Native plants, flowers, and groundcover can be found throughout the garden. The waterfall, flower beds, and walkways are illuminated by a "up lighting" system.

The Roque House Gardens are ideal for a small, intimate wedding or event. The Roque House Gardens, nestled among the banks of Cane River Lake and downtown Natchitoches, are an excellent choice for events with 50 or fewer guests. The gardens feature brick walkways, native plants, and surround a historic live oak tree in front of The Roque House, one of Natchitoches' most historic locations.
