Beautiful Scenery and Landscape

Armenia is a distant, gorgeous region in the middle of Europe and Asia. The country's awe-inspiring pristine environment will never cease to impress. Armenia's landscapes are extremely diversified, with variations in the geological substrate, topography, temperature, soils, and water resources. These areas sustain a wide range of ecosystems, each with its own flora and wildlife. Armenia includes seven distinct geographical zones, with the lowest point at 390m above sea level and the highest at 4,090m: deserts, semi-deserts, dry steppes, steppes, woods, and alpine areas. That's rather astounding for a country the size of West Virginia and roughly three times the size of Scotland! Each zone has a unique terrain, with one being more attractive than the other.
