Berakas Beach

Berakas Beach is located in the Dudong district of Bandar Begawan, the capital of Brunei. Although the beach is not snow-white, it is appropriate for families with children due to its clean sand and easy access to the ocean. In addition, the beachfront area has a playground, restrooms, and other services for couples. The beach area is not particularly large, yet it is pleasant. Although there are more gorgeous and far more popular beaches in Brunei, the free parking and convenient location attract a considerable number of tourists of all ages.

The scenic Forest Nature Park, located near the beach, barbecue and fun friendly gathering spots will divert your attention away from the less-than-perfectly clean water, which is not always suitable for swimming. As a result, many visitors who visit Berakas Beach during bad weather take an exciting mini-trip through the neighboring forests, where they can view primates and rare plants in their natural habitat. The beach is in the northern section of Brunei Muar, and getting there by rental car is more convenient.
