Meragang Beach

The beach is well-known among locals, and despite the fact that the coastal zone's ecology is virtually wild, it appears to be completely unspoiled from the outside. At the same time, Meragang Beach's clean sands, soft clouds, and a light breeze transform a beach vacation into a fairy tale. Amazing sunsets, a quiet, secluded holiday, and a big number of turtles (there is also a turtle breeding center) attract numerous travelers to the beach each year.

Brunei Muar is located to the northeast of this location. The beach has practically no waves during the dry season, but it is a good area to surf for the rest of the year. The access to the sea is simple, the water is crystal clear, and the wreckage of wooden boats strewn along the coast only contribute to the place's charm and distinctiveness.

At the same time, the beach can even be described as wild; it is not busy and has little infrastructure, and local residents' stories about the beach's "crocodile" appellation motivate travelers to visit Meragang Beach to ensure that there is no animals present. The place is suitable for sunbathing, walks on cross-country vehicles, water-skiing, as well as for a family picnic with the construction of sand castles or barbecue with friends.
