Beyoncé, or "Queen Bey" as her legions of admirers across the globe affectionately refer to her, is no newcomer to worldwide acclaim and record-breaking performances. Beyoncé has risen to prominence as one of the world's best-selling musicians since she established her career in the early 2000s. Plus, she has won more Grammys than any other artist, was the first female artist to send her first six albums to the peak of the Billboard charts, and has become the greatest Black musician in history.

Beyoncé announced her pregnancy with twins on Instagram on February 1, 2017, garnering over 11 million likes almost instantly. The post was, and continues to be, the star's most-liked Instagram picture, according to SheKnows.

"Guinness Global Records can confirm that music singer Beyoncé has broken the record set for the most liked Instagram picture, after her announcement that she and husband Jay Z are expecting twins," the Guinness Book Of world records organization announced. The picture also generated conversation on some other social media channels.
