Big Match (2014)
Big Match is a 2014 South Korean action film written and directed by Choi Ho, starring Lee Jung-jae, Shin Ha-kyun, Lee Sung-min and BoA. Former football player and UFC mixed martial arts champion Choi Ik-ho (Lee Jung-jae) goes by the moniker "Zombie". When coach Young-ho, his elder brother, vanishes out of nowhere, the police detain him as the main murder suspect. Then Ace (Shin Ha-kyun), a brilliant mastermind who creates complicated games for Korea's wealthiest inhabitants to wager enormous sums of money on, calls Ik-ho on the phone. The games are played with real people in real-time utilizing cutting-edge technology and CCTV cameras.
Ik-ho is compelled to participate in Ace's game and obeys directions from a mysterious woman named Soo-kyung in order to rescue both his brother's and his own lives (BoA). Ik-ho accomplishes tasks that appear impossible by using his cunning and abilities against a variety of opponents, including police officers and low-class thugs. Then he moves on to the final round, where he must locate his brother in a big soccer stadium while also racing against time to defuse a bomb tied to his ankle.
