Chief of Staff is a 2019 South Korean television series starring Lee Jung-jae, Shin Min-a, Lee Elijah, Kim Dong-jun, Jung Jin-young, Kim Kap-soo, Jung Woong-in, Im Won-hee, Jung Man-sik, Park Hyo-joo and Jo Bok-rae. The first season aired on JTBC from June 14 to July 13, 2019. The second season aired from November 11 to December 10, 2019.
Chief Of Staff tells an intriguing narrative of the ongoing political struggles with a group of actors noted for their acting abilities. A legislator must continually think on his feet to stay one step ahead of his rivals. After a ten-year absence, Lee Jung Jae is making a comeback on television in the character of Jang Tae Joon, a vibrant chief of staff who seeks to reform the broken system. In a new persona, Shin Min Ah plays the role of Kang Seon Keong, a former attorney who is now an assemblywoman and is secretly seeing Jang Tae Joon. Despite being from different political parties, Tae Joon and Seon Yeong support one another in attaining their own objectives.
