Binnenhof
The first on the list of the most beautiful historical sites in the Netherlands is Binnenhof. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the country's most notable landmark. Binnenhof is an old city in The Hague and it also served as the administrative center of the capital for many centuries.
For many ages, the Binnenhof was the main seat of the Dutch parliament. The main building of the complex is often referred to as the Inner Court - Knights' Hall, and it is famous for its beautiful architecture and interior.
The Binnenhof is worth a visit not only for its beauty but also for its historical significance, but it is also a great opportunity for visitors to learn about Dutch politics and see inside the offices of Ridderzaal, Aardameitje, Tweede, or First Chamber of the building.
Some parts of the structure, such as the House of Commons, must be guided by others; other places, such as the visitor center and main lobby, can be visited independently.
