Black Iron Submarine
At the start of "Black Iron Submarine," Conan, Ran, the Detective Boys, Agasa, and Kogoro score invitations to a fancy resort on Hachijo-Jima, owned by Sonoko's family. And here is where it gets interesting. Subaru gives Conan the scoop that another Europol agent got taken out and that a Black Organization agent named Pinga is stirring things up.
Conan is, of course, on the case: he picks up on Shiratori and Kuroda's trail and follows them to an underwater Interpol joint called Pacific Buoy, a place with a super system that hooks up to surveillance cams all over Japan, Europe, and eventually the whole globe. At the center of this technology is the "All-Age Recognition" system in play, using AI to figure out how old people are based on their facial features.
Bourbon and Vermouth make their way into Pacific Buoy and kidnap Naomi Argento. They stash her in a sub, and from a necklace flash drive they find on her, they learn that this All-Age Recognition system can actually spot Haibara as Shiho Miyano. What are they going to do? How does Shiho keep herself in the dark and away from the Black Organization? The answer lies further within the complex plotlines in "Black Iron Submarine."
