The Raven Chaser
The Raven Chaser is also lauded by many Detective Conan fans and anime fans in general to be among the best Detective Conan movies of all time. It's also the thirteenth installment of the series, marking an important trademark in its long run.
So what is the plot of The Raven Chaser? The events unfurling in the movie are pretty straightforward. In The Raven Chaser, Conan attempts to investigate the murder of a man whose brakes were removed, forcing him to smash into a toll plaza. However, the man's cryptic words and the baccarat tile discovered next to his corpse indicate that something more sinister is at play. In reality, it appears that the homicide is connected to other criminals in Tokyo. And adding insult to injury, the sinister Black Organization is involved in the case!
The Raven Chaser was so critically acclaimed that it was nominated the Best Animated Movie at the Japanese Awards Show, and it is not difficult to see why. The film's narrative is filled with mystery, action, and drama. It is also an excellent opportunity to see Conan's adversary, the Black Organisation, in action. In 2009, the film was released on DVD and Blu-ray in Japan and certain European countries.
