Black Mountain Golf Resort Hua Hin (Thailand)

Black Mountain is transformed from lush jungle and pineapple plantations and is located about 25 minutes west of Hua Hin. Located in a valley surrounded by giant mountains covered with black granite, Hua Hin golf course was the venue for the 2009 and 2010 PGA Asia events and the Europe match. In 2012 and every year since, Black Mountain has been voted by Golf Digest magazine as one of the 100 best golf courses in the world. In 2014, Black Mountain hosted The Thailand Classic, the first European Tour event held in Thailand. The Thailand Classic was also held in 2015 and 2016, and is now a major fixture on the European and Asian Tours.

The golf course looks as natural as possible and maintains many of its original features. The most important of these things are the small creeks that run through Black Mountain and the rocks used as design elements on many of the pits. The original trees were kept, and many new trees were planted to create creeks with spillways for cars to pass through the multi-hole frame.
