Bled
One of the smallest tourism destinations in the world, Bled is located at the base of the Slovenian Alps. Although it has become very popular in the last ten years, the surrounding scenery and tranquil mood have not changed. The serenity of the resort town and the unmarked, limitless beauty of the scenery make Bled a fresh breath of alpine air, calm relaxation, honeymooning romance, peaceful bike rides, and gentle walks.
Other incredibly attractive locations besides the famous island in the middle of Lake Bled can be visited. The Royal Bled Golf Terrains, one of Europe's most stunning golf courses, need to be first on your list. The Triglav National Park, which is close by and must be visited while in Bled, must be included in your itinerary. The most notable features of the park are the ethereal Vintgar Gorge and Lake Bohinj, the largest glacial lake in Slovenia. Overall, a trip to Bled offers a lot of options for outdoor recreation and relaxation, including several opportunities for long-distance trekking and leisurely lakeside strolls.
