Blue Lagoon Resort
Since its opening in 1984, the yearly Blue Lagoon Resort has operated without a hitch. The pleasantly rustic residence is well-maintained by owners Tom and Michele Wessling and employees, and repeat visitors are always glad to stay there. Only 24 units total across the small property's different sizes are available, including freestanding two-bedroom Cottages with fully equipped kitchens and one three-bedroom house, as well as Motel rooms with mini-fridges, microwaves, and coffeemakers, Motel Efficiency rooms with kitchenettes, and Motel Efficiency rooms with kitchenettes. The entrance to a green meadow for picnics and barbecues is passed a store for essentials.
However, a private beach with Adirondack chairs, kayaks, and rowboats is the best (those with motorized boats can pay a fee to use the launch and slips). To go on excursions or buy groceries, visitors only need to take a short journey to Lake George. The best part is the nightly campfires. Check-out is early; however, parking and WiFi are complimentary.
