Bocconi University
Bocconi University was founded in Milan in 1902 with a substantial grant from rich trader Ferdinando Bocconi. Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi was the first Italian higher education school to provide a degree in economics. Bocconi has always stood for liberalism, pluralism, and social and economic advancement. Despite being a private school, Bocconi has always been more than just an exceptional university. It has constantly supported and practiced equality of opportunity among its many generations of students, actively financing the education of worthy and disadvantaged pupils.
Bocconi is now a world-class research university in business, finance, economics, data science, political science, cyber risk, and law. National and transnational institutions sponsor their research programs. Bocconi exchanges teachers and collaborates on substantial projects with like-minded European and American universities and business schools since it is a prominent node in the European and worldwide network of business and economics colleges.
