Bon Bini Festival
In Papiamento, Bon Bini means "Welcome!" and this weekly traditional song and dance festival is the ideal introduction to Aruba's warmth and generosity. Every Tuesday evening in downtown Oranjestad, the Bon Bini Aruba Festival takes place in the outside courtyard of Fort Zoutman, Aruba's oldest building, to introduce island visitors to Aruba's unique culture and history through Caribbean music and dance, as well as local art and food.
Aruban's dancers dressed in traditional garb, as well as local bands playing road marches and calypso tunes, immerse visitors in the island's dynamic atmosphere while also presenting the region's history and culture. If you are a lover of music, excitement and delicious food, this festival is for you. With a large number of participants, it is not surprising that this festival is in the top of the most famous festivals in Aruba.
