Brian May
Brian May is an English musician, composer, astrophysicist, and 'Queen' guitarist. He went on to become famous in the genre of 'rock' music, selling more records than 'The Beatles, thanks to his trademark hairstyle that defies the image of a scientist. May began playing the guitar at the age of seven and formed his first band in school. It was amazing for his family and friends at the time, who understood his enthusiasm for music and science, which worked extremely well for him as a mix.
Brian May, the guitarist, and singer-songwriter for Queen, also holds a Ph.D. in astrophysics. He got a CBE after being named one of Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time and Guitar World's second-greatest guitarist. He was Chancellor of Liverpool at John Moores University, has worked with NASA and is an animal rights activist.
He subsequently sought a Ph.D. in Astrophysics at Imperial College, London, before resigning to capitalize on the success of his famous rock band, 'Queen.' As a member of the band, he authored numerous songs and created various compositions. May's music albums have topped the charts in the UK and the US, thanks to various guitar solos, covers, and collaborations with great musicians. After 30 years, he returned to college to get his Ph.D. and has continued to play live all around the world.
